Job Description:

Successful candidates will be responsible for identifying and winning new business in one of the following areas:

  • Veteran Affairs
  • Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
  • Intelligence
  • Public Housing Authorities
  • Health and Human Services
  • State/Local (Metro DMV)
  • Alliant GWAC

Successful candidate will demonstrate successful hands-on and engaged leadership and management of technology, systems, and organizational entities. Extensive oral and written communication skills and experience required. Experienced in the preparation and/or negotiation of technical and cost proposals to the federal government. Authored winning responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) for new business activities. Proven problem solver and motivator with ability to work with junior to senior executive, technical, and support personnel. Familiar with the preparation of modifications for new SINs and labor categories, and Industrial Funding fee audits and renewals. Coordinated task order bidding and cradle to grave acquisition processes. Ability to work effectively across multiple teams in order to achieve goals and objectives.

Position Responsibilities:

  • Market vehicle to current and potential clients (website, slicks, conferences, call plans etc.)
  • Support business units in building relationships with agencies
  • Align corporate capabilities with appropriate opportunities
  • Support T&H strategic growth plans by ensuring the right contracts are in place
  • Monitor contract and task order performance
  • Prepare budgets
  • Advise and assisting customers regarding the technical scope of each vehicle and/or opportunity
  • Provide all reporting information and deliverables required under the Basic Contract accurately, thoroughly and timely
  • Attend meetings and conferences as necessary
  • Create methods to notify T&H of and track opportunities coming out
  • Assist or lead (capture manager) with Task Order Proposals

Position Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 15 years of progressive federal government business development experience, including significant experience identifying and winning work in respective area listed above.
  • Excellent communication skills - written and oral
  • Ability to write in a number of genres ranging from policy to procedural documentation
  • Competent in standard information system tools and applications
  • Exceptional Oral presentation skills required
  • Excellent customer-relation skills
  • Established relationships within customer base
  • Possess high level of initiative
  • Must be a US citizen
