Rodney Thomas, President and CEO of Thomas & Herbert Consulting LLC Cited as One of Maryland's Top 100 Minority Entrepreneurs
Rodney Thomas to Receive Prestigious Award from Governor Ehrlich's Office of Minority Affairs
Silver Spring MD, October 2, 2006 - The Governor's Office of Minority Affairs (OMA) and The Daily Record announced that Thomas & Herbert Consulting LLC (T&H) has been named one of Maryland's Top 100 Minority Businesses for 2006. This inaugural program salutes Maryland's best minority and women business owners and to highlight their achievements. A panel of distinguished judges chose Rodney Thomas as a standout entrepreneur who has demonstrated outstanding achievement in four key areas: business development, client satisfaction, professional affiliations and community outreach.
T&H was founded by Thomas and the Firm's Executive Vice President Deana Herbert in 1996. T&H has emerged as a premier information technology and management consulting firm that provides exemplary services to Government organizations including the State of Maryland, Department of Homeland Security, Army, Air Force, Navy, Housing and Urban Development, Commerce, Treasury and the Intelligence Community among others. The Firm has experienced consistent growth and has been recognized as one of the Nation's fastest growing companies by Inc. Magazine in 2004 and 2005.
