MR. RODNEY E. THOMAS is the co-founder, CEO, and majority owner of Thomas & Herbert Consulting LLC (T&H), and he has over 16 years of experience in the field of management and information technology consulting. Mr. Thomas is a pioneer in developing, refining, and maintaining Federal Enterprise Architectures (EAs) that yield quantitative business improvements and provide clients with the intelligence necessary for making sound information technology capital planning and expenditure decisions. Mr. Thomas was a key member of the tiger team that developed the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Enterprise Data Architecture in the mid 1980s, which formed the framework for today's Defense Data Architecture (DDA). The DDA, which is currently being maintained and refined by T&H on behalf of the Defense Information Systems Agency (DISA), is the world's largest data architecture, encompassing data artifacts, business rules, business objects, and domains for every organization within the Department of Defense. Prior to launching T&H, Mr. Thomas served as a Business Process and Data Architect at KPMG, LLP, as well as several small and 8(a) companies.
