e-Government

Among the many promises of the digital revolution is its potential to strengthen democracy and make Government more responsive to the needs of their citizens. e-Government is the use of information and communications technologies to transform government by making it more accessible, effective and accountable. e-Government includes:

  • Providing greater access to government information;
  • Promoting civic engagement by enabling the public to interact with government officials;
  • Making government more accountable by making its operations more transparent and thus reducing the opportunities for corruption; and
  • Providing development opportunities, especially benefiting rural and traditionally underserved communities.

As Government agencies rise to meet the challenges of the 21st Century, dynamic information-based solutions that operate securely and reliably in near real time are needed to address the strategic national goals that e-Government brings to bear. T&H delivers these solutions.

Our passion to deliver for critical Government agencies is transforming T&H from a niche player to a trusted partner. We're providing the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) with e-Government services enabled by web technologies that facilitate the fusion, reporting, analysis, compilation and dissemination of grantee information from the Nation's largest Public Housing Authorities, through HUD and ultimately to Congress. Our services support the proper allocation and use of billions of taxpayer dollars for the HOPE VI grant program that provides affordable housing to underprivileged citizens.

These are just a few of the ways we are helping the Government realize the promise of e-Government via optimizing efficiency and enhancing service delivery and accountability for our citizens.
