Contingency Management Planning
On November 25, 2002 President Bush signed the Homeland Security Act of 2002 into law. The Act
restructures and strengthens the executive branch of the Federal Government to better meet the threat
to our homeland posed by terrorism. In establishing a new Department of Homeland Security, the Act for
the first time creates a Federal department whose primary mission will be to help prevent, protect against,
and respond to acts of terrorism on our soil.
T&H provides services that have emerged based on the events of September 11, 2001, as well as the War
Against Terrorism. These services are germane to our national security.
Business Continuity Management - T&H's services include conducting business
impact assessments to gain an in-depth understanding of organization's critical landslide functions and their
vulnerabilities to a disaster, and identifying alternative strategic approaches to carrying out recovery in the
event of a disaster. T&H also develops frameworks for managing business continuity, including testing and
maintenance of disaster recovery plans as part of day-to-day operations.
Airport Badging and Access Control -T&H provides audits of airport's baseline
functions, performs vulnerability assessments of the IT assets that support the badging and access control
process, and develops frameworks of performance indicators, audit objectives, and recommendations to curtail
possible intrusions.
