General Description of Effort
On the WARDANCE Requirements Task of the T&H CMMI contract, the T&H Team was tasked with gathering and compiling System, User and Technical Requirements of the WARDANCE Contract Generation & Administration (CG&A) System. Developed and initially delivered in 1998, this client-server based system had several releases that were never documented. The T&H Team, interviewed over 35 procurement individuals in various functions using WARDANCE and gathered 467 system, 235 user, and 85 technical requirements of the As-Is System. In addition the T&H Team commenced a study on To-Be requirements.
Customer Benefits
The Procurement Organization at the Intelligence Community is now able to investigate comparable CG&A systems being used in other Federal Agencies such as DoD and NASA as well as Fortune 50 companies to see what system suits their needs the best to bring their procurement practices into the 21st century. Once installed, this new CG&A system will utilize more efficiently diminishing resources and improve productivity in the contracting process.
