The Carol B. Claiborne Employee of the Year Award
The first recipient of the Employee of the Year Award was Ms. Carol Claiborne, one of T&H's first employees. Ms. Claiborne was a very unique employee who offered the Firm a rare blend of technical skills, business savvy, leadership, and excellent written and oral communication skills. During her tenure with T&H, Ms. Claiborne had a tremendous impact on our success with clients including the US Army Corps of Engineers and the Federal Energy Regulatory Commission. Ms. Claiborne also spearheaded the Firm's award of the Export-Import Bank data warehouse project, which represented T&H's first prime contract award. Based on the tremendous impact that Ms. Claiborne had on T&H, our Employee of the Year Award is named in her honor: The Carol B. Claiborne Employee of the Year Award. Ms. Claiborne departed the Firm in 1999 to follow her husband's career. Nonetheless, her spirit, fire, and dedication to T&H will always be remembered. Each year, T&H recognizes the one employee who displays an unrivaled level of dedication to the Firm's success, and who consistently exceeds our client's expectations. This standout individual is honored by the Firm's executives, managers, and staff, and receives the coveted Carol B. Claiborne Employee of the Year Trophy. T&H first recognized the achievements of its employees via the Employee of the Year Award in December, 1998. The
awardees were selected by the CEO and COO via identifying the employee who had the greatest positive impact on the Firm in
several areas: Client delivery, financial growth, mentoring/leading other staff members, and displaying the willingness to
