T&H Mentor Protégé Program

As a former Protégé in the Department of Defense, Department of Homeland Security, and Department of the Treasury Mentor-Protégé Programs, T&H is committed to assisting small businesses achieve success via our mentorship, guidance, lessons learned and best practices. T&H is a Federally-approved Mentor via the Department of Defense and Department of Homeland Security Mentor Protégé Programs and we are currently mentoring small businesses in these programs.

T&H
Thomas & Herbert Consulting LLC (T&H) is the only small business to be accepted as a mentor in the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) Mentor-Protégé Program and in the Department of Defense (DoD) Mentor-Protégé Program. Mentorship in these programs is usually reserved for large businesses who desire to take a small business under their tutorlage. T&H's acceptance is testament to our experience and ability within our core competencies and the confidence that these Departments have in T&H's ability to properly assist in the growth of an upcoming small business.

TMI
T&H has accepted TMI Solutions, Inc (TMI) as a protégé under the DHS Mentor-Protégé Program and is in the process of also including them under the DoD program. TMI is a small, disadvantaged, 8(a), Veteran-owned business founded in 2001 by two experienced IT professionals with a commitment "To Deliver Extraordinary Customer Services, Quality & Results." Led by Anthony Hemmans and Q.C. Jones, TMI provides award-winning information technology solutions including initiation and planning, requirements development, testing, IV&V, business intelligence, database design and management, software engineering, and content management solutions. Clients include SSA, Department of Energy, and Maryland Department of Budget and Management. T&H and TMI now have a three-year working relationship in providing systems services to public and private sector clients and in managing business management and service development as part of the DHS Mentor Protégé Program.

iFed
As a step in our mentor-protégé relationship, T&H formed a joint venture with TMI named iFed, LLC. This joint venture combines the corporate experience, resources, and complementary capabilities that, when joined, provide clients with access to a Small Business Administration-recognized 8(a), Veteran-owned, HUBZONE, Small Disadvantaged Business, CMMI Level 3-assessed prime contractor with a proven EVMS and experience and technology used to enable mission success. The iFed, LLC joint venture reflects the two firms' synergy capabilities and experiences that, when combined, provide a small business vendor of choice. iFed LLC has recently captured a large, multi-year IDIQ contract with the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS).
