Native Washingtonian Mr. Rodney E. Thomas is the Co-Founder, President and CEO of Thomas & Herbert Consulting LLC (T&H), and Co-Founder of the joint venture, iFED, LLC. Mr. Thomas has over 19 years of experience in the field of management and information technology consulting for Government agencies. Mr. Thomas established T&H in 1996 with a passion to deliver unmatched systems development and integration, business transformation, enterprise architecture and related IT services for customers. Under Mr. Thomas' leadership, T&H has been recognized as one of the fastest growing and most admired companies in the Nation by Inc. Magazine, Washington Technology, Washington Smart CEO and GovernmentVAR Magazine among others. Mr. Thomas' leadership and sound decision making have resulted in significant achievements for T&H's clients. T&H developed a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) to improve the quality of Terrorist Screening data to prevent terrorist attacks on our Country; redesigned a Housing grants management system to offer underprivileged citizens safe and affordable homes; and is supporting the development of a SAP solution to rapidly deliver critical commodities to our Army service members anywhere in the World. Mr. Thomas engineered the firm's most significant contract awards including the $600 million NSETS II Contract with an Intelligence agency, and iFED, LLC's $4 Billion Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Enterprise System Development Contract. Mr. Thomas championed T&H's pursuit of CMMi Level 3 Certification, which the firm achieved in 2005, to facilitate the delivery of the highest quality services and products for clients. Mr. Thomas is a philanthropist who supports many charitable and faith-based organizations including CharityWorks, Komen National Race for the Cure for Breast Cancer, Everybody Wins Power Lunch Reading Program, Montgomery County, Maryland Adopt-a-Family Program, Easter Seals, Gethsemane Baptist Church, Howard University, and the University of the District of Columbia, among others. Mr. Thomas is a Veteran of the U.S. Army and he holds an MBA from Howard University and a BA from the University of the District of Columbia. Mr. Thomas is the proud father of two sons.
