Karen Miller Biography

General Counsel and Vice President/Chief Financial Officer

Ms. Miller is a member of the Firm's Executive Team and thus helps to set the strategic vision and goals for the Firm. In addition, she serves as the Firm's General Counsel and Vice President/Chief Financial Officer. As such, she oversees all legal matters and is responsible for managing the Firm's Finance and Contracts Departments. As the SEI CMMI Level 3 appraisal sponsor, Ms. Miller worked closely with the delivery teams to achieve this important certification.

An attorney and Certified Public Accountant, Ms. Miller has amassed a unique blend of finance and legal experience over the past 30 years. Prior to joining T&H, she served as a Senior Auditor for Arthur Andersen & Co.; a Senior Financial Analyst for Potomac Electric Power Company; Assistant Counsel for Potomac Electric Power Company; and a Senior Associate for Jordan & Keys, LLP. She has also served as counsel to existing and startup companies providing legal advice and services in the area of contracts, leases and other agreements, mergers and acquisitions, intellectual property commercial litigation; and general corporate law.

Ms. Miller holds a Juris Doctorate from the Georgetown University Law Center and a Bachelor of Business Administration from The George Washington University.
