President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Thomas & Herbert Consulting LLC (T&H)

Ms. Herbert is co-founder, President and Chief Operating Officer (COO) of Thomas & Herbert Consulting (T&H) and has over 18 years of experience in strategic planning, enterprise architecture, data modeling, program and project management, information engineering, conceptual modeling and analysis, and data integration. As Executive Vice President, Ms. Herbert works with the CEO, CTO and CFO to refine T&H's strategic plan to advance the mission, vision and values of the firm. She leads the development and integration of T&H business and program management practices and performance measurements; and establishes individual performance expectations for Managers and regularly evaluates their performance against T&H objectives. Ms. Herbert oversees and provides program oversight for T&H's DoD, Civilian and Intelligence and Security Sectors. Under Ms. Herbert's leadership, T&H formed an Intelligence and Security Sector focusing on providing business solutions to safeguard the welfare and security of the United States generating $33million in sales for the firm. She leads and manages the daily operations of T&H supervising project managers and technical staff as well as directing core departments and functions such as human resources and recruiting. Ms. Herbert oversees a Management Team that supports clients such as the Intelligence Agency, Department of Labor, Veterans Affairs, Department of Treasury, Veterans Health Affairs, Bureau of Economic Analysis, Internal Revenue, and State of Maryland offering business transformation, enterprise architecture and systems engineering solutions.

Ms. Herbert leads and manages many aspects of T&H, and provides strategic direction and oversight over the Firm's Intelligence, State of Maryland and Defense Strategic Business Units. T&H has achieved a prominent position as one of the fastest growing and most successful companies in the Nation via recognition from Inc. 500, Washington Technology Fast 50, and Diversity Business.com. Based on her accomplishments, Ms. Herbert was recently received the "Distinguished Achiever Award" presented by National Women of Color in Technology Inc.

Ms. Herbert holds an MS from the University of Maryland and a BS from the University of the District of Columbia. She has one son, Dominique Herbert.
